Another Strong Weekend for Robertson

July 30, 2007

Winston-Salem: NC: After Friday night was rained out at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, NC, Ryan Robertson took to Bowman Gray Stadium with one goal in mind: to post another win. Robertson started the first of two 20 lap sportsman races in second, and with strong defensive driving at the quarter mile track Robertson was able to hold on to his position. Robertson started the second race in ninth position and worked his way quickly through the field to finish third.

"We had a great night at Bowman Gray again," says team owner Mike Robertson. "I love to see Ryan do so well at such a tight track and in front of 15,000 fans."

At just over half way through the season, Robertson sits in 2nd place in points at Friendship Motor Speedway and as of Saturday night moved up to 6th place at Bowman Gray Stadium. He has a total of 36 starts on four different tracks with one pole, one win, 18 top five and 27 top ten finishes.

The team is currently sponsored by Carolina Wood Floors, Pat's Body Shop, and WCWG CW20 television station. They will be running at Friendship Motor Speedway Friday night, August 3rd in an ASA Weekly Late Model race, and again on Saturday night, August 4th at Bowman Gray in two 20 lap Sportsman races.
