October 17, 2007
Winston-Salem, NC: Ryan Robertson and team finished off a strong and very busy season this weekend at the Fall Finale at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, NC. Robertson and the #29 Carolina Wood Floors Chevrolet closed out the 2007 season with 44 starts, 1 pole, 1 win, 18 top five and 31 top ten finishes.
In preparation for another race-filled year, Robertson began visiting additional tracks in addition to his primary tracks: Friendship Motor Speedway and Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC. The team also ran at Caraway Speedway in Asheboro, NC and Myrtle Beach Speedway in Myrtle Beach, SC and practiced at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, VA and Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, NC.
Robertson plans on expanding his racing geography during the 2008 season to gain experience at new tracks against new drivers.
Current sponsors CWF and the WCWG CW20 have renewed their sponsorships for the 2008 season. WSJS 600AM/1200AM has also signed on to be a media sponsor for next year.
"We're thrilled that all our major sponsors will be returning next season," said team owner Mike Robertson. "It shows the kind of value and exposure we've been able to provide with the marketing power our team has had this year." MediaFit, Inc. of NC is the team's marketing agency.
