Robertson Motorsports Prepares for Season
March 28, 2008
Winston-Salem, NC: It is that time of the year; cars are making their way out of the shops and onto the tracks. This is no exception for Ryan Robertson, driver of the #29 Carolina Wood Floors and WSSU Motorsports Chevrolet.
Robertson Racing has spent the month of March fine tuning their #29 car and their
#31 Savage EnergyTM Chevrolet at Orange County Speedway in Durham, NC.
“We are looking forward to our first race,” said Mike Robertson, team owner. “We think the cars are where they need to be able to run up front.”
Robertson is coming off a strong 2007 season racing at four different tracks throughout North and South Carolina. He started in 44 races with 1 pole, 1 win, 18 top five and 31 top ten finishes.
“We are looking forward to watching Ryan continue to grow as a driver,” said Mike Causby, owner of Carolina Wood Floors. “His expanded racing schedule as well as the events we have planned are going to continue to raise awareness of Carolina Wood Floors.”
Robertson Motorsports will be racing at a number of different tracks and divisions throughout the Carolinas and Virginia. The #31 Savage EnergyTM Chevrolet will be running eight races in the UARA series. The #29 Carolina Wood Floors and WSSU Motorsports Chevrolet will be running in LMSC races and the #23Carolina Wood Floors and WSSU Motorsports Chevrolet will be running a full season in the Limited Sportsman Division at Bowman Gray. Robertson will be driving in five of the races with teammate Scott Hall driving in the remaining races.
Robertson Motorsports is currently sponsored by Carolina Wood Floors, WSSU Motorsports, Savage EnergyTM, WCWG CW20 and WSJS 600 1200am. Robertson will be joining WSSU Motorsports at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 5th, for the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Spectacular.
